Newspaper

Every citizen above level 4 can create a newspaper and write his own articles.

Writing articles is an excellent opportunity to express your feelings, make an announcement or to do business.

Creating A Newspaper

• Creating a newspaper costs 2 Gold
• To create a newspaper you need to be level 4 or higher
• You need to provide a unique newspaper name and an avatar (optional)

Writing An Article

• You can only write one article per hour
• You can select which country your article will be published in
• You can use BBCode in your articles
• You can choose article type too which is a new update
• You can place Images in your articles
  • First upload your Image to an image hosting site such as http://tinypic.com/?t=postupload
  • Then place the link in your article surrounded by the [IMG] tags like in the example below: [IMG]http://i40.tinypic.com/d63t.jpg[/IMG]
• You can add url's by adding a [url]text[/url], citizens by adding a [citizen]name[/citizen] and several similar features.
• Players with Premium Accounts are able to see who has voted and subscribed to their newspaper, as well as country statistics.
• You can create a poll in article.

•One question per article. •2-3 answers ( up to 30 answers for premium players ) •Results are sorted by %. •If the poll is created you cannot change it. • Poll may be added when article is already created.

Subscriptions

• Other players can subscribe to your newspaper using the subscribe button
• Players that subscribe to your newspaper will receive a notification in there subscriptions tab when you write a new article
• You will receive a Media Mogul Medal for every 100 people that subscribe to your newspaper.

Polls in articles

Poll in this article is real, you can vote!

They are under development but current version contains

• one question (we would like to keep it simple so no quizzes)
• 2-3 answers ( up to 30 answers for premium players )
• sorted by percentage

Short instructions:

• write an article in may be in preview mode
• go to the article there is option "Create poll" next to "Delete" and "Edit article"
  
• write question, and at least two answers
• click the button below, but be careful it is impossible to edit or delete poll after it was created

More info:

• only one question per article - if you try to add another it won't happen
• minimum 2 answers, maximum 30
• players without premium have less possibilities
